Privacy
Privacy is a feature, not fine print. Here is exactly how your data is handled.
Your files are never uploaded
Every tool processes your files in your browser. Your PDFs never touch a server and are never sent anywhere. PDFBench needs the internet only on first open, to load two PDF libraries from a CDN. After that, the work is local.
The working queue lives in memory
Files you add stay in memory only. A refresh clears them, so finish your work in one session. Nothing is written to disk or to the cloud by us.
No tracking
We do not require a login, and we do not track you across the web to use the tools.
The request form is the one exception
If you choose to submit a tool request, the text you type (the tool idea, the description, and an optional email) is sent to us and saved in our database so we know what to build next. That is the only thing you can send us, and only when you choose to. Your PDF files are still never uploaded.
